Steve Goldberg
Steve’s work focuses in Executive Coaching and Organizational Effectiveness. He brings over 20 years of experience in coaching, leadership and organizational development to his work with executives, teams and organizations in the corporate, governmental and non-profit sectors.
He is a masterful coach who focuses on improving performance by helping leaders and groups be more reflective and strategic in their style and approach. Steve is known for his ability to quickly gain rapport, focus on key needs and underlining issues, utilizing candor, humor and significant life experience.
Previous Experience: Steve has worked around the globe in over 20 countries, in coaching and organizational effectiveness assignments with Fortune 50 corporations and major international governmental bodies. This includes work with Ford Motor Company, US Postal Service, World Health Organization, International Red Cross, the Canadian International Development Agency and United States Agency for International Development.
In addition to other coaching assignments, Steve has managed a large scale coaching and organizational development project for the US Postal Service. The project involved working with core group of 50 key executives and their teams to align values, and improve effectiveness, utilizing an applied emotional intelligence strategy built on the formula of Efficiency + Care= High Performance.
Prior to this major assignment, Steve was part of Ford Motor Company’s Team Effectiveness Coaching Group, where he assisted major product development teams improve their productivity and effectiveness in times of stress and transition. During his tenure with the Coaching Group, Steve helped develop an innovative Knowledge Management system to collect coaching tools and techniques for working more effectively with Product Development Teams. Later in his tenure, he managed the new coach recruitment program on behalf of Ford.
Education/Professional Affiliations: Steve holds a Masters Degree from Harvard University, specializing in organizational and human development. Steve’s post-graduate work includes a degree in adult development and counseling, with a focus on performance and transition-career coaching.
